About James

My name is Jim and I spent 8 years in the Marine Corps but please don't let that scare you off. I'm more than happy to work with all types of clients who may be looking for very different results or training styles. My main goal and the reason why I got into training, really is just to help people live better lives and feel better. After the Marines I also spent time as a CPR and Life Guard instructor with the RedCross and I have also worked as an EMT. My passion really is helping people and I hope to be able to do that for you. I chose Top Dead Center because as kid growing up back home in Montana I spent a lot of time working on cars with my dad. Top Dead Center is a term used when tuning an engine, this is the starting point, it's where you have to begin and that's a direct correlation of how I like to train. We will find the starting point for your journey and teach you, guide you and get your body performing and running efficiently. I've worked with all types of clients so whether you're preparing for your wedding, just had your first child and mom and dad want to get in shape together or maybe you've always wanted to tackle and adventure race...whatever your goal, I'm here to help. I am also a nutrition coach so each session there will be an element where we talk about your eating habits because nutrition is a HUGE part of your journey. I very much look forward to working with you!
