Born in NC where I participated in many sports such as football, track, & boxing. I was 6th in the region for the 110m hurdles and made it to the state finals for football. At 23 I moved to Gunnison, Colorado where I experienced tons of new outdoor activities. I fell in love with hiking (climbed to the top of Mt. Massive, over 14,000ft) and snowboarding. Went to college at Western Colorado University where I majored in Exercise & Sports Science with a minor in Organic Chemistry.
After graduation, I moved to Myrtle Beach, SC. As your trainer, I will help you understand the reason "why". Why am I doing this exercise? Why is this important to me? Why should I train like this? I will help you answer these questions and many more. I am a firm believer that the more you know about why you're doing something the greater the chance you'll stick with it. Knowledge is power and I aim to share everything I have learned with you. While I am supportive and encouraging I am firm. I will push you out of your comfort zone and at times you may hate me but that just means I am doing my job and you are too. I will make you believe in yourself and show you an inner self-confidence you never knew you had. Exercising is more than just being healthy. It's about taking control of your life, believing in yourself, and showing yourself the beauty of your own body.
My favorite exercise
I love doing pushups. There are so many variations to make pushups challenging and I love trying to come up with creative ways to make them harder.

My training philosophy
I am all about consistency and form. I do not care about how much weight you can lift (ego lifting) or how fast you can do it. It's all about controlling the movement and being aware of how your body feels during and after exercise.
My training experience
I have been training people since I started college and have helped numerous friends and family get in better shape, lose weight, or just help them understand why exercise is important. Knowledge is key!
