I specialize in working with women over 50, and those who are post-cancer treatments and beyond to revitalize their health. I specialize in plant-based nutrition, and love to prepare healthy meals for myself, and will share this skill with you! I apply my own passion for heath and fitness to motivate and inspire others to achieve their wellness goals. I have been a health and fitness trainer since 1985 with ACSM, and currently with ACE. My favorite exercise
Outdoors on a mountain bike, hiking, or kayak paddling in the bay- those add up to a total body workout! But indoors, I love to use bands and body weight and functional fitness exercises, and yoga.I have taken clients kayaking, biking, hiking and helped them to feel more confident in the outdoors. Fresh air is so important for our brain and body!

My training philosophy
Everyone starts where they are. No judgement, just find your personal goals, and a way to find your sweet spot to get there. I can be a motivator, a cheerleader, silent, or sparky- whatever you need to motivate you. Achieving optimal health and wellness is a mix of mindset, self-love, forgiveness, flexibility and jumping back on the train when you falter. Having a coach as a guide can be the best way to keep accountable.
My training experience
I have worked with a wide range of clients-with adults, women-only, small-groups, children, and post-cancer treatment clients. Each experience has such unique opportunities for learning about how we are all so different in our needs and how fast we progress. Patience and consistency have been my virtues!
