I approach my clients with an exercise prescription based on their health and wellness needs. I focus on utilizing exercises that will improve their everyday life functions and what will bolster performance in family life, work life and overall general health. I have assisted a wide variety of people achieve their goals by priding myself in enhancing my clients' fitness levels treating them as a reflection of my own work. Some of my specialties include strength training for the general population, injury prevention techniques, and weight loss for moderate to extreme cases. I have a wide variety of tools in the tool box, it's just a matter of who needs what tool to get to where they want to be.

My favorite exercise

I love every form of exercise. But if I were to narrow it down I would give it a four way tie between squats, dead lifts, pull ups and push ups. Why? Because each movement mimics the exact functions that we perform in our everyday life weather it be at our jobs, recreational activity or everyday household activities. I put these exercises at the very top because as humans we need to be strong in the lower body, core and upper body pushing and pulling movements.

My training experience

I have been promoting the improvement of quality of life through elite personal training and healthy lifestyle coaching for over 10 years. My years of experience include interning under some of the smartest people in the fitness industry including working as a high school Strength and Conditioning Coach, physical therapy clinics, college sport athletic training rooms and interning for the University of California Strength and Conditioning program. I have just obtained my Master's Degree in Kinesiology. My Thesis was on the effects of exercise induced dehydration and how it could effect performance. In my path to improve my own quality of life, I am now pursuing my Doctor of Physical Therapy Certification to add to my knowledge. I plan to use my vast array of skills and knowledge to help any population improve their quality of life through health and wellness.
