I am very aware of the barriers and challenges of modern life that get in the way of fitness and health. My story is like many of you. I did not do any deliberate exercise as an adult until age 40, when my personal life came to a crisis.
I, tentatively, began to do a little jogging. I guess I instinctively felt this would help me cope with my stress. Well, as time went on, I began to crave movement, finally threw away the cigarettes, and felt I had turned the corner!
In time, I found other active adults, joined a run club, eventually becoming the club president. I always enjoyed discussing training, injury prevention, etc., with others. Years passed and I started thinking about making a change from a middle manager job, to something else. I became aware of real jobs called "Personal Trainer". Helping others become the healthy and fit person they long to be has been a blessing. Giving of myself to others became easy and fulfilling. Now I am so glad to have the tools to bring to you. I long to meet you and make movement absolutely something your body will crave. Reduce the cost of drugs, doctor and hospital bills and apply the medicine of movement for a longer, healthier life.

After eight sessions, my stamina has really improved, also balance. But the best thing of all is less back pain!
I wanted to thank you for all your training help over these past few months. My family and I jest returned from a vacation in Yosemite where we not only bicycled all over Yosemite Valley but we also hiked to the top of Vernal Falls! When I told my husband that the best part of the vacation for me was the fact that I was able to hike all the way to the top of the falls, he said that the best part for him was the the fact that I WANTED to hike to the top! As you know I was never into exercising prior to coming to you. However, I am now exercising at Club One at least 4 or 5 days a week. Thank you again for your support and assistance in my training.
I want to say thank you for the expert personal training you provided this year for my running. I have been racing for over 15 years but never before have had professional training. I am very pleased with the results we achieved on a relatively low mileage base. My March starting point was a 5K race run in 23:53, a 7:23/mile. By October I was strong enough to keep this pace for a 10K, running a 45:46 at Primo's Run for Education, my fastest 10K time in several years. Thanks again for your expert training.
I look forward to meeting with you on Weds. My race (Half Ironman) went very well! My overall time was under 6 1/2 hours. Not bad for a first-timer! Thank you, Tony. Without your expertise I wouldn't have been able to complete this daunting task. My success is because of you!
