About Rob
Former Division 1 & retired Arena League football player turned trainer. Over 15 years of training experience, beginning as a personal trainer for Bally Total Fitness.
In these 15 years in the fitness industry I've spent 12 years coaching varsity football, eight years coaching high school girls track, six years freshman boys basketball, and a few years working with soccer clubs putting on speed & agility camps/sessions. I love working with clients from all backgrounds, but excel at getting athletes ready for their sport.
Training became a passion of mine earlier on in my athletic journey. I've wanted to share my experiences and help my clients become the best version of themselves and reach any fitness goals they set.

I inherited Rob from my previous trainer at Lifetime Fitness in Romeoville, IL in 2008. My previous trainer had left the club for personal reasons and Rob was assigned to pick up the slack relative to my training needs. Naturally I was a bit skeptical about switching trainers in mid-stream but Rob's natural, innate ability to win friends and influence people won me over in short order. I've found Rob's methods to be very challenging and geared toward results from the very beginning. I think that his finest attribute as a trainer is that he listens to the needs of the client and offers realistic feedback which helps to build around those needs to meet and exceed the goals of his clientele. In my experience this is a rare attribute in any service provider. Unfortunately I had to suspend and eventually cancel my training sessions with Rob due to an injury that had occurred (not related to training) but I would highly recommend contacting Rob and committing to his services....you will not be disappointed in his efforts on your behalf. The best thing is that he and I became friends too.....it's just his way.
Trust your body to Rob. If not for him, I wouldn't have a clue as to what to do in the gym other than the run-of-the-mill activities--treadmill, stationary bike, etc. He's very knowledgeable, patient, and inspiring. When you get Rob, you won't get one of those ego-maniacal trainers who yell and make you pass out...you get caring with a concentrated program that is tailored to target your problem areas and you get RESULTS.
Rob starting out training my wife following the birth of our last child. She was very pleased with his knowledge, professionalism and the results. About 3 months ago, Rob offered to train my wife and me together. Again, we could not be more pleased. The workouts are always well-designed, challenging, creative and fun. The results have also been noticeable for both of us. We could not be more pleased with Rob and his work and would highly recommend him for anyone looking for fitness advice or training.
