About Ben
Grew up in Norwalk and now living in Stamford, exercise cardio/strength training kicked in since middle school due to sports and own well-being. In all my practice I believe that one size doesn't fit all; it's about finding something sustainable and flexible. If one approach doesn't work we will find something that will work. A typically session always starts with a warm up to get the body rolling
My favorite client story
After a few sessions and given homework, John, who I lucked out with living down the street, never used to do exercise on his own since his younger days. When reintroducing him back to jumping jacks and step ups with other simple exercise, he gets thrilled every time i come by to remind me "Hey, you'd be proud...I got my jumping jacks done this morning" and his wife would go with a laugh, "no he didn't" and he'd shoot back, "don't be jealous just because he's my trainer." Always a great laugh with john. It means we've created a positive and safe environment for his fitness.
My favorite exercise
single balance any exercise (overhead press/bicep curl/front raise) because balance is something everyone lacks and challenges a lot of muscles very quickly.
My training experience
started as a trainer at a YMCA training athletes to the elder population and people just looking for simple exercise, mixing in Orangetheory coaching a few months after. Soon I developed private clients through word of mouth and social media.
