I believe in preventing health problems through exercise and healthy living. I also enjoy helping people obtain wellness goals as well as rehabilitating post surgery or injuries. I have a BS degree in Health Science, Behavioral/Social Science and Education. I hold three American Council on Exercise (ACE) certifications, Personal Trainer, Health Coach, and Medical Exercise  Specialist as well as Cancer Exercise Specialist I am also certified as a Master Trainer through AAAI/ISMA. I hold certifications in Fitness Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, Nutrition Counseling for adolescents and young adults, Youth Fitness Specialty Certification, Training older populations, Sports Conditioning as well as Suspension Bodyweight Trainer (SBT) certified. I am a member of the US registry of Exercise Professionals. I love leaning new things and I love challenges.  

My favorite client story

One of my best feelings of happiness and joy was when I had a client who was 71 years old and could barely walk and could definitely not do a squat after 6 months of training he did 72 squats on a 72nd birthday

I HATE working out with a burning passion! Katina makes it fun and makes sure I'm not bored by changing up the routines. Most importantly she listenes to what my goals are and customizes our work outs to fit my needs. The second time i did an assessment with her i had improved drastically! Katina gets results!


I suffered a car accident and had low back issues and had gained weight from lack of activity with Katina as my trainer I gained mobility, strength, and confidence! She was there to help and mobest te me and she cared about my injuries and took them into consideration when creating my workouts. I had been to physical therapy for years with no results but within a month of working with Katina I was doing things I hadn't been able to do for years. I tried the rest, physical therapy and other trainers but she is the best

I bought a 12 session package as a birthday gift to myself and I'm so happy that I did. I had very specific ideas about exactly what I wanted and she just hopped right in and fulfilled my needs/wants perfectly, without question. She always arrives on time and totally prepared with all kinds of workout goodies. She is extremely patient with my lack of coordination and I believe she really does do her job with the strong desire to help me (and others) get stronger. She has been very receptive to trying new things that she may not ordinarily do --- For example, one of the things I requested was for her to ring my doorbell 3 days per week and get me out the door to go for a run...Just so I could get back on my running routine (in addition to our strength training sessions). Even though that is not something she regularly does with her clients, she has totally nailed it. She let's me set my running program and she just runs right along beside me. I can't even explain how helpful this has been in regard to getting me back on track. Obviously, I highly recommend Katina!!! :)
