About Amanda

I am currently a Personal Trainer, Amazon Halo Trainer and Barry's Bootcamp instructor. I have worked with Nike, Fabletics, Amazon and have been featured in Shape Magazine, The Cut, and Prevention Magazine. I started working in fitness after years of believing that hours of cardio was the answer to health. After I discovered strength training and saw a huge change in my body, I quickly fell in love with movement, power and agility. I work with clients on an individual basis to develop programs unique to their own body. Fitness is not a one-size-fits-all belief and movement should be done in a way that feels good and enhances your life! I believe health is all encompassing and is mind, body, and spirit. Perfecting one while neglecting another, will in the end still lead to an unhealthy life. I believe in body positivity, balance, pushing your limits, and acknowledging your progress every step of the way.

I come from a background of undereating and over-exercising which caused years of damage to my body and metabolism. I now coach my clients how to lose weight and build strength in a healthy, manageable way to help maintain a healthy relationship to self and food.

My favorite client story

A client came to me who struggled with PCOS, no history of exercise, and a poor relationship to food and her body. We worked together for over a year, she was able to lose weight, find a healthy routine that worked for her and her hormones without stressing her body AND found a true love for becoming stronger and lifting heavy.

My training philosophy

Work hard and push yourself always but prioritize recovery, nutrition, and maintain a healthy relationship to food and exercise.

My training experience

I grew up playing sports my entire life so I have always maintained an active lifestyle. I first stepped into the fitness industry as a trainer through spin - which I taught for 3 years. I eventually moved to HIIT and personal training where I have taught at numerous studios around the country, both in-person and virtually. I now coach at Barry's Bootcamp and am a trainer for Amazon Halo.

I have struggled with my relationship to food and over-exercising for a large majority of my life. On top of that I have been working and studying to fix hormonal and gut imbalances for the past 4 years. I now focus on coaching a variety of individuals, but primarily women who deal with a negative relationship to self, body, and movement. I help coach my clients to move to feel good, rather than movement for punishment and work to lose weight, build strength, and feel GOOD in a healthy, manageable way.
