About Douglas

Hi, I've been playing sports since I could walk, and an active fitness enthusiast for as long as I can remember. After graduating college, I spent 11 years in the US Air Force. Since leaving the service, I decided to pursue a lifelong dream. After becoming a certified personal trainer and launching No Bull Fit, I work part-time as a personal trainer and fitness class instructor. Early on I gained experience in body building and power lifting. Today, I tend to focus more on triathlons. I offer several different products and services. I’m sure one will fit your needs. My favorite exercise

It has to be the kettlebell swing. Its not for everyone, but I can't think of a better exercise that works the entire body so well. Its safe and effective.

My training philosophy

I believe in functional training. Training for life, as I like to say. I'm a big believer in a well rounded fitness program. I like to incorporate strength training, HIIT, cardio, yoga, swimming, and just about everything else into my routine. But for you, its all about what you enjoy and what will keep you motivated.

I believe in teaching myself out of a job. I want to provide you with all the knowledge, skill, and confidence to be your own personal trainer. I want to be your guide helping you through your fitness journey!

My training experience

I mainly teach fitness classes in the morning on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at the El Segundo Athletic Club. I teach a functional boot camp utilizing non-standard gym equipment. With my military background, sometimes I like to spice it up and provide the real boot camp experience.

I've had several clients since I began personal training in 2016 and I really enjoy working one-on-one to help my clients meet their goals and give them a lifelong joy for fitness.
