About Jackie

Hi, my name is Jacquelyn Hackett and I believe living a healthy lifestyle begins from within. I practice and preach intuitive eating and mindful movement; be it yoga, weight lifting, HIIT, or sports. I have a Masters degree in Nutritional Science and am a Clinical Registered Dietitian working at a hospital in LA. When I'm not cooking, reading nutrition articles, or working out you can find me traveling the world exploring exotic cultures and enjoying music.

?I've been an athlete my whole life and played Volleyball, Basketball, and ran track. I still play league basketball today. I understand the needs and demands of intense sports both physically and mentally. Proper fueling and training is key when it comes to gaining an edge over your competitors. I graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a double major is Psychology and Sociology. I then decided I wanted to become a Registered Dietitian, so I went to community college for 2 years, then graduate school for 3 years where I received my Masters Degree in Nutrition. Along the way I became a Certified Personal Trainer, worked at Equinox for a year, then started my own personal training business. I am now committed to helping people do the things they want to do in their lives!

My favorite client story

My favorite client I have seen grow over the years is one who was at a point where she could not do laundry without pain or could not get out of her car because her legs were so weak she had to lift them herself. She is now able to run a mile, can stretch on her own, and is lifting weights like never before.

The founding principle of my practice is finding and sustaining long term wellness though balance and freedom from diets. I also help you identify your fitness goals, design an exercise program that fits your needs, and guide you through every exercise.
