I received a B.S. in secondary education for Biology and taught as a high school Anatomy & Physiology and Biology teacher. I later became a CPT and currently run my own personal training business while in the process of finishing my first book.
I've worked with all ages and levels of clients ranging from 25-75 years old and from competitive athletes to clients who never exercised before training with me. The majority of my clients are business professionals who are looking to improve their health and fitness. I enjoy seeing clients transform into an improved healthier life through their sessions with me.
I also offer jiu jitsu lessons for sessions and have been an instructor since 2018. I received my black belt in 2021 and have ten years experience in this martial art. Jiu jitsu can be used to improve health and fitness, quality of life, and/or for self-defense.
My favorite client story
I had a client with high cholesterol and blood pressure who had decreased both to a healthy level after about 9 months of training and health coaching from me. She also proceeded to tell me how she thought she had a lump on her leg when she realized that she had calves for the first time!

My training philosophy
My philosophy of health and fitness is achieving a healthy, balanced lifestyle and being happy with how your body feels and looks. When the main focus is becoming stronger and healthier, then your body will naturally feel better. Once you feel better, the end result is being happy with how you look. The process takes both physical and mental preparation for your journey. I believe steady progress with gradual changes is the winning combination to achieve your goals. The all too common swings between extremes of deprivation and overindulgence with nutrition and/or over training and under training are not the ideal or permanent ways to achieve happiness of your health.
