My favorite client story

A client of mine who is a former D-1 track athlete came to me with a goal of gaining lean muscle mass. In his college years he was 6'3" and weighed close to 200 lbs. He graduated from college 3 years ago and since then has not had anyone to coach him in the weight room. So he lost about 27 pounds of muscle mass and was going to a chiropractor for his lower back. We trained for 90 days, and in that time he gained 12 pounds of lean muscle mass and no longer goes to the chiropractor! His self confidence was through the roof at this point and even credited training as the reason for his job promotion. I cannot tell you as a trainer how happy it feels to know how the principles of training promoted higher self-esteem, self-confidence, and an overall healthier lifestyle. This is the reason why I train.

My favorite exercise

My favorite exercise is the Barbell squat. This is by far the best exercise as it requires a lot from your body, thus promoting the highest release of growth hormones and endorphins. All of which are needed in getting results you want.

My training experience

I have worked for Equinox Healthclub in Santa Monica. I have helped my clients lose anywhere from 10-100 lbs. and keep it off. I have helped my clients overcome chronic issues such as lower back problems, shoulder and knee rehab, and eating disorders. Most importantly, I have helped my clients develop a passion for fitness and become self sufficient when they exercise.
