My favorite client story
One of my first clients came to me because he had a a serious medical situation that required invasive surgery and a lengthy recovery process. When he was cleared to workout again he was told to do no overhead exercises. He attended a CrossFit gym and they didn't really grasp the gravity of his situation so he began working with me. When we started he couldn't do a full push-up, so we started with wall push-ups and worked our way up to regular push-ups. Now he's doing 3 sets of 30 push-ups on a medicine ball!

My training philosophy
My training philosophy and workouts can be broken down into three parts:
1. Mobility and flexibility through a very thorough warmup.
2. Compound movements to build full body functional strength.
3. Short interval based conditioning or core work (usually Tabata format) to ramp your heart rate and metabolism.

I've had the opportunity to work with high school and collegiate athletes, military/LEO/fire, busy professionals, parents, and a variety of clients with unique backgrounds. I started lifting weights when I was 15-years old and have a wealth of first hand experience and knowledge that allows me to relate to all my clients in one way or another.
