I have over 20 years experience as a Personal Trainer. Having a degree in nutrition and having been athletic all my life, I found a way to combine the two as a Personal Trainer. Along the way, I added certifications in Medical Exercise (to work with clients with diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension etc.), and Health Coaching to learn the psychological and well as physiological components to helping clients meet their goals. I added my certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist to train athletes of all ages. I have worked with clients from age 7 to 87 and bring passion for listening and trying to get to know you, the client and what makes you you and figuring out a personal program that fits your needs and goals.
My favorite client story
One of my favorite client stories is when one client poked her head back in through the door after her session and yelled, "I feel so energized!" It made me smile!
My favorite exercise
There are so many great exercises out there, but I would have to say as far as my favorite, it's a tie between kettle bell swings and push ups! Both should be part of any workout program!
My favorite quote
My favorite quote would have to be, "Just Do It!" Not everyone shares the passion I have for exercise, but when they are done, they are happy and feeling better, and glad they made the time to come. Do not overthink it, just get it done!
My training philosophy
My training philosophy would be to train hard and with focus and enjoy the rest of your day knowing you did your body good.

In the 20 plus years, I have trained clients at Y's, private clubs, corporations and now at my own studio gym in Franklin.
All experiences have been great learning vehicles and expanded my knowledge of training clients in different environments.
