I became a personal trainer because I want to use the knowledge and skills I have to help others. This is my passion and what I love most about my job. I've always struggled with my weight and confidence related to my weight. It was over 10 years ago when I decided it was time to make a lifestyle change, which has led me to where I am now. My method for personal training is rooted in aerobic and resistance training for maximum results. I am a movement educator and through motivating and encouraging my clients, I use positive reinforcement in my training tactics. I am not a drill sergeant, but my workouts are geared to push my clients to give their maximum efforts while simultaneously having fun. I do so through positive feedback and peaceful speech.
In addition to being a personal trainer, I am a recent graduate from the College of Saint Elizabeth. I just completed my Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetic Internship. My career goal is to become a Registered Dietitian. Along with my passion for nutrition, I have 13 years of fitness experience in the gym. I chose this field because I want to help people and educate them with nutritional strategies and interventions to facilitate healthier lifestyles. I trained a client with knee/joint issues. With specific exercises, effective training greater than three (3) months, and mindful eating, I help my client reach her goals, reduce knee, and increase functionality in that patellar region.

He is dependable, consistent, committed, and detailed. He will set up a time for meeting with you and always be on-time, taking his schedule and yours seriously. He will show you each exercise and do it with you, patiently focusing on proper form and technique for maximum results. His rate is flexible in regards to the session frequency, which will work with most budgets, and the results will leave you feeling stronger and noticeably fit. He also make recommendations for food choices and portions as you go through the fitness journey during your training sessions. In my case, my weight loss was minimum for the first three months, since I had already lost 30 lbs prior to starting this program. However, I literally shrank 1.5 inch around my waist and bustline and my thighs and calves shaped with muscles I did not even know I had, My arms became shaped and shrank as well, my shoulders now give an indication of strength and form that implicitly demonstrate fitness. my butt became hard and round, eliminating the fat that prevented it from looking as good as possible, considering my age and fitness level. I went from wearing a size large t shirt to a medium, and then to a small, and my pant size changed from size eight to a size two. Not only my physical appearance has changed for the better, but exercising has become a part of my lifestyle; but the best part has been to successfully eliminate a lower back pain , knee and shoulder pain that bothered me for over a year, as the result of core muscle strengthening and proper stretching techniques. I am able to run on the treadmill without hesitation for 30-45 minutes, without any joint pain whatsoever, and use light weights as a part of my exercise routine, something that I was never able to do before. Many of my friends and family have noticed the change in my appearance, and for that I have referred multiple times . For all these reasons I decided to commit to another 3-month program that will help me burn more fat and raise my fitness level up another notch. I am looking forward to make an even more dramatic transformation at the end of the next 3 months, and continue improving through a consistent and disciplined lifestyle change.
Ive gone through many personal trainers and Josh is easily the best one. He knows exactly what hes doing; he makes sure your doing everything correctly and pushes you to your limits. Hes a state employed nutritionist and will create an awesome meal plan for you. I lost 5 pounds in a month because of Josh
As my subject evidently says, Joshua helps you get results. I have been taking personal sessions from Joshua for the past 5 and 1/2 months. I have seen amazing results. I have lost inches as well as weight at a healthy pace. Josh is great at working on your goals and provides nutritional guidance based on your health conditions as well. When he asks you to push that extra rep in you might hate him but believe me thats when you see results. Thank you so much Josh for being the best!
