My focus is on prenatal and postpartum personal training, meaning all my exercises are tailored to account for potential diastasis, joint relaxation, and proper breathing. You will get a whole body workout, nutrition checkup, and emotional status checkup every session, with emphasis placed depending on your needs. No amount of time in the gym will help if you are malnourished and stressed (or tired, or angry, overwhelmed, etc)! I will work with you to connect you with the right resources to maximize your wellbeing.
For prenatal clients: I focus on preparation for easier labor and birth by paying extra close attention to core and pelvic alignment and lower body strength and flexibility. I also aid in safe weight loss for those trying to get pregnant or who are in the early stages of pregnancy.
For postpartum clients: I focus on helping your body recover from birth while adapting to the demands of baby care. Exercises focus on healing diastasis, regaining core strength, and stretching and strengthening your upper body.
