I am passionate about strength training combined with proper nutrition, and feel compelled to make other realize that, nothing else can change your body more. NUTRIENT TIMING is KEY. What you eat and when you eat it, will make or break your progress; before, during, and after workout. You can be STRONG but not FUNCTIONAL. I will help you be both. I like to incorporate weight training exercises with callisthenic exercises and stretches, along with using different kinds of equipment to traditional weight training, such as; TRX, kettlebells, tires, ropes and more fun things.


My favorite client story

STRENGTH vs FUNCTION. My client was having a hard time functioning after breaking her leg. She got her strength back in it, and was able to leg press about 400lbs! but after assessing her, she had a hard time just standing on that one leg and couldn't even get herself off a chair with it, only weighing 160.That was her wake -up call. After making her realize that, I have been helping her do single leg exercises and stretches. She is now able to function much better on that one leg. :)

My favorite exercise

single arm, low cable row, with rotation, in a split squat stance, flexing and extending the knee & hip. It's one exercise that I love, because it works your upper & lower body; firing up your glutes, core, lats and more! It's even more rewarding, super-setting it after doing after heavy squats or step-ups. :)

I have been a Personal Trainer since 2008.Certifications: AFAA CPT. KBC KETTLEBELL INST. NASM, CPT, CES. AED/CPR Cert. 2004 NBI & 2008 NPC 1st place Bodybuilding Champion. I have helped people of all ages and levels of ability, get stronger , loose weight, improve their health and look better.
