I grew up overweight as a kid and was never involved in sports. I struggled with self-esteem and never felt like I fit in. It led me down the path to becoming a US Marine and that gave me the confidence and support to learn how to gain strength both inside and out. I started personal training almost 10 years ago with the purpose to help others find their inner strength and love for fitness. I enjoy teaching everyone of all levels but have a special place for those beginners who are afraid to start and not sure how to begin.

I began lifting at a very young age. Learning from bodybuilding magazines. Then YouTube. Then from certifications and the experience of working at large commercial fitness clubs.
