I am a retired Sergeant from a large police department in North Carolina. After retiring, I found interest in wellness. I obtained a degree in Health in Fitness Science. While completing my degree, I became an ACE certified Personal Trainer. The more I was able to work with and help others reach their personal goals, I obtained my ACE Health Coach certification. I continue to take classes and further my education in order to be more proficient in guiding and encouraging others to reach their fitness and wellness goals. I am committed to working with anyone, no matter the age or fitness level, that wants to become a better version of themselves. We all have room to improve. With proper instruction, motivation, willingness, and time, everyone can create a better quality of life for themselves. Every person is unique. Every individual has a set of goals that is exclusive to them. After completing an initial free assessment, I will create a fitness and wellness plan that is customized to your needs and wants. My favorite client story
I have many great clients. I have one that stands out because her her tenacity. The client that had gained weight and lost tone after birthing multiple children. She was determined to get her pre-child body back. She understood that is a misconception that you will always be "have a belly" because you had children. We were able to set short term goals that made her successful at obtaining her long term goals. She has maintained her weight goals and commitment to fitness.
My favorite exercise
I have always loved circuit training (not crossfit). Modified circuits, or cardio circuits, can offer fitness for many levels. Even with my older population we do a routine similar to Silver Sneakers as a a group.

I have worked as a personal trainer, a group fitness trainer, Silver Sneakers instructor and a wellness coach. Most of my personal training clients prefer an at home atmosphere. Whether we work in your home or at a park, I bring equipment to best suit your training needs. Working out of a gym is just as easy if that is your preference. I'm flexible for you. Virtual training is now a great option for training!
