I specialize in women's fitness needs, such as trouble areas like underarms, thighs, love handles, and hips. Also, I enjoy helping with women's health issues such as osteoporosis, poor eating habits, stress control and relief, pregnancy, and post-menopausal weight gain. Plus, unlike other independent personal trainers, I do not sell or push any supplements, smoothies, starvation diets, or any kind of strict diet. I believe in a healthy, happy lifestyle, so that you can live your life to the best of your ability. I also have no contracts whatsoever, and no minimum sessions you have to buy. My clients pay as they go-- they can stop training with me anytime they are ready to exercise on their own, or if they are not happy with their results. So, I make sure they get the results they want! That is my job, and I love my job! I get the results because I am properly educated, have years of experience, and I know how to choose effective exercises while still trying to make exercise enjoyable. I don't believe in making clients throw up or cry in order to feel as though I am pushing them hard enough. I don't believe that will encourage anyone to keep exercising throughout their lives, and that is the goal of a personal trainer-- to motivate and educate their clients on how to properly exercise in a way that will be a life-long habit. I would love to meet you, and hopefully inspire you to be the best and feel the best you ever have! There is no charge at all for consultations, and no risk to get started right away, since I won't take your credit card information, or have you sign any contracts. Thanks so much for your interest! I believe in exercise being fun, so you will want to do it for the rest of your life! I wouldn't want to work out either with a trainer who made me throw up or talked down to me. I am passionate about living a happy and healthy life, and that is the main emphasis of what I like to educate my clients.
My favorite client story
My favorite client story is actually a lady who suffered a stroke in her early 40s. She went to physical therapy until her insurance no longer covered it since they could not show any improvement. She walked with a cane when I first met her. I worked hard with her, and one day, told her she is ready, and took her cane away and asked her to walk for me with a normal gait. She did, and we both were on the verge of tears.
My favorite exercise
My favorite exercise is walking. I love to go for walks, especially when the Arizona weather is at its best. It is so nice to have time to myself, where I get to enjoy the outdoors and the luxury of having the time to do so. Anyone can fit it in, though! I can also multi-task if needed when walking, such as returning calls and emails...
My favorite quote
"We don't stop exercising because we get old; we get old because we stop exercising.". -and-. "Fitness is not a destination, it is a way of life.". -and-. "One of the greatest moments in life is realizing that two weeks ago, your body couldn't do what it just did."
