I became a trainer because I wanted to find a career that allowed me to help people while being able to stay connected with fitness. In doing so I’ve gotten fantastic opportunities to work with a wide array of amazing people ranging from: brides getting ready for their special day, clients battling chronic illness such as COPD and Parkinson’s, clients preparing for races and spartan runs, to the business professional simply looking to get/stay in shape. I believe working with such a diverse group of people has allowed me to have a broad skill set and amount of knowledge to bring to the table when it comes to meeting the needs someone is looking for in working with a fitness professional. If you’re ready to get moving better and crushing your goals I’d love to hear from you today!
My favorite client story
One of my favorite all time favorite client stories was with a lady name Lisa I worked with. Lisa came to me having to carry an oxygen tank and needing to lose 20lbs in order to get a lung transplant. It was definitely one of my more challenging experiences initially but once we got rolling it was smooth sailing taking us about 3 months to accomplish her goal!
My favorite exercise
At the moment probably split squats or single leg Romanian deadlifts. I love almost anything using one leg. It really challenges the body, helps work on core strength, stability, balance, muscular imbalances, and for aesthetic purposes it helps give you a more symmetric look
My favorite quote
I have 2:
"Excuses are tools for the weak and incompetent to build monuments of nothingness, those who choose to use these tools amount to little or nothing"
"You don't have to be great today, The world needs mediocre people too" -Ben Bruno
My training philosophy
Assess the individual: from personality type to determine my coaching style, mobility to determine how/and what we train, and goals to determine the specific path we take to guide us towards the end goal(s)
My training experience
Seniors, athletes, Special populations such as: COPD, diabetes, post-physical therapy, rehab, prehab, Post-surgery, business professionals and parents on the go

He has also created meal plans and personal workout plans for me to use at home. He is a kind, friendly, and caring trainer who is really concerned about the health and wellbeing of his clients. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone in need of a personal trainer to help them reach their health goals
Awesome great trainer. I'm glad i signed up!
Sam’s always there, always positive, always attentive and intent on helping me reach my goals. He listened to what I want to accomplish and formulated a plan I can succeed at.
Sam was wonderful to work with! He did a great job building workouts geared to achieve my fitness goals. He doesn't push you past your limits but makes sure you get where you need to be. I'm grateful to have had the pleasure of working with him.
Sam was great, he was great at motivating and catering the workout to my ability while also pushing me. He’s great at answering questions about things and helping you understand more. I would recommend Sam to anyone whether they are new or having been working out for a while.
Absolutely responsive to whatever your needs are. I quit smoking, lost 30 lbs of fat and put on 11 lbs of muscle. Can do unassisted pullups now and I'll be 63 in July!
Sam is wonderful. We r in our 70's and he has developed a wonder program for us! The best!
I didn't know what to expect when I started working out, but Sam went above and beyond. I am now 60 pounds lighter and I have discovered a passion for fitness. Sam will do right by you and he's pretty cool too.
I had to lose a bunch of weight to qualify for a lung transplant. Thank you Sam for helping me to meet my goals. You are also a nice guy.
Excellent professional with awesome work ethic and great value for the expertise.
Very thorough. Takes it slow which is good for older people like us!
Quick and easy to find. Many options. He’s a great professional.
Great trainer, great guy. He listens to your goals and makes it his purpose to help you achieve them. Sam gets you there without any cliche gym gimmicks or fads. He's knowledgeable and still friendly while keeping you on task. Definitely recommend.
