About Sam

I became a trainer because I wanted to find a career that allowed me to help people while being able to stay connected with fitness. In doing so I’ve gotten fantastic opportunities to work with a wide array of amazing people ranging from: brides getting ready for their special day, clients battling chronic illness such as COPD and Parkinson’s, clients preparing for races and spartan runs, to the business professional simply looking to get/stay in shape. I believe working with such a diverse group of people has allowed me to have a broad skill set and amount of knowledge to bring to the table when it comes to meeting the needs someone is looking for in working with a fitness professional. My favorite client story

One of my favorite all time favorite client stories was with a lady name Lisa I worked with. Lisa came to me having to carry an oxygen tank and needing to lose 20lbs in order to get a lung transplant. It was definitely one of my more challenging experiences initially but once we got rolling it was smooth sailing taking us about 3 months to accomplish her goal!

My favorite exercise

At the moment probably split squats or single leg Romanian deadlifts. I love almost anything using one leg. It really challenges the body, helps work on core strength, stability, balance, muscular imbalances, and for aesthetic purposes it helps give you a more symmetric look
