About Charles

During a training session a proper warm-up with cardio and then exercise based stretches/exercises that will relate to the workout. I then show clients the teacher aspect of training and provides encouragement throughout sessions. We finish off with a cool-down with cardio and then do some light stretching. During my sessions I have three my areas that I focus on; Stability, Mobility, and Core Emphasis. This allows for building the foundation for an individual with correct form throughout an exercise program.

My philosophy is holding clients accountable to reach goals for being healthier. I also believe it is important to show clients the teacher aspect of training and provides encouragement throughout sessions.


My favorite client story

My favorite story is a client that I had been given after his trainer left the company. He was hesitate to train with a new trainer. I explain to him that I would do my very best to keep the sessions fun and effective and if he didn't like the first session he could request another trainer. After that first session, he was one of my most reliable and flexible clients that I had during my time with that company. He allowed me to throw new things at him and push him more than any other client I had.

My favorite exercise

My first exercise is definitely anything to do with core work. These exercises are so important and allow the rest of the body to perform at a high level when the core muscles are firing at a high intensity.

My training experience

I have threes of experience where I trained a variety of clients from muscle building clients, weight loss clients, and elderly clients focused on balance, maintenance, and clients looking for increase in flexibility. Throughout this clientele I have done in-home training, YMCA personal training/orientations with selectorized equipment, and Personal Training and Anytime Fitness.
