Greetings Y'all I would love to take a moment to tell you my fitness story. I have been an active athlete my entire life primarily in martial arts, but through the years I have competed in basketball, baseball, volleyball, and obstacle races. I had a stroke of luck at the age of 19 because where I decided to go to college was also the hometown to one of the most active MMA communities. I joined a competitive fight team at The Pit owned by UFC champion Chuck Liddell and though I loved to compete I loved to coach more. After completing my undergraduate degrees I moved to Texas to pursue my Master's degree in physiology. While working on my degree here in Austin I was also coaching weight lifting at the university and I coached over 150 students during my time there. My new love for resistance training culminated in my final thesis paper, an in depth review on the best exercises in the weight room and on the track that transfer to combat sports, and a year long program to maximize speed and power training. After finishing my schooling I rewarded myself with month long training camp in Thailand at Tiger Muay Thai under Master Yod. When I came home I began my training business ready to bring my passion and knowledge to all my clients. All of my training is based on the newest exercise science available and I tailor each workout and program to the individual. I believe the best results come from client focused program design as opposed to cookie cutter programs for the masses. Whether we are working in the gym or in the ring, the workout will always be unique to you.
