Hi! I'm Rebecca. My goal as your trainer is to help you throughout every stage of your life to stay as strong and confident as possible. As women, we require specific training for each phase of life from adolescence, young adulthood, pregnancy, post partum, and menopause. My focus is on overall health and well being and I teach you how to make life long changes to become your healthiest self. I teach you how to not only change your lifestlye but also your mindset around fitness and weight loss. I am not a fan of yelling and intimidation as your trainer, I come from a place of compassion and understanding and meet you where you're at physically and mentally! I'm originally from NYC and currently live in Austin, Texas. I am pursuing my doctorare in physical therapy and am striving to specialize in women's health. I currently hold my certification from ACE as a personal trainer, sports nutrition specialist, and in prenatal/postnatal fitness.
My favorite client story
I've been working with a client for 2.5 years now and at one point during our training she broke her foot. She wanted to continue exercising but needed extreme modification as she couldn't put any pressure on her foot. I worked with her on modifications and strength training with injuries for about 6 months until she was fully healed. I felt really proud of her for wanting to remain strong even with an injury and it was a learning experience for me as well!
My favorite exercise
The plank because its a full body exercise that can be done anywhere!
My favorite quote
" To achieve the impossible, you must do what you've never done before."
My training philosophy
Baby steps lead to giant results. Nothing great is going to happen overnight, including your fitness goals. It's more about taking little steps to be healthier every day that will give you lasting results. I like to train my clients in a realistic way, making sure that their programs work well with their individual schedules and lifestyles.
My training experience
I have been a certified trainer for 7 years and also worked as a chiropractic assistant for 2 years. I have a lot of experience within the functional training realm and have helped many people rehab their nagging injuries while achieving their weight loss goals. I have worked with a large variety of clients such as professional athletes, stay at home moms, post-surgical, and diabetic. I now focus on women's health and train women during all walks on life such as post-natal strength training.

Medical Conditions Experience
I have been training with Rebecca for about 2 months, and have had a great experience. She is very friendly and fun to talk to, and tailors your training sessions to your specific needs, as well as working in whatever space is convenient to you. I came in with a lot of knee problems and she has focused not only on what I said I wanted to improve (which was mostly more about how I want to look), but also on strengthening the areas that will relieve my knee pain. In addition to the workouts, she has helped me with healthy eating and snacking, and I have already seen a major difference in my lifestyle. I have lost 7 of my target 12 lbs I wanted to lose, and have seen the results in how I look and feel as well--I have a lot more energy and feel more confident in my "swimsuit body", in addition to actually seeing a reduction in my knee pain. Highly recommend working with Rebecca!
I had the pleasure of working with Rebecca for almost six months as I was seeking to improve my core strength and improve overall health. I was pleased to see progress almost immediately and surprised by how much my strength improved over time. For example, after working out with her for a few weeks, I noticed significant improvement in my endurance on a downhill mountain biking course I occasionally visit. Rebecca is very knowledgeable about proper techniques and of a variety of exercises, She provided good advice about diet and training routines to follow between sessions. Beyond training, she is also interested in physical therapy and was able to suggest exercises and stretches to deal with some of my ailments. She has a generous spirit, a welcoming demeanor, and always engaged in cheerful and humorous banter to keep sessions refreshing. I'm glad I worked with her before moving away from Seattle, and strongly recommend her services.
I have been training with Rebecca for several months now and the results I can see are astounding! She puts so much thought and preparation into each session with a massive emphasis on proper form for maximum results. She even modified my program to accommodate a sports injury I incurred. She is a joy to workout with which makes exercising with her so much more fun. I highly recommend her services!
