Hi my name is Amie! I have been working in the Fitness Industry for the last 9 years and I have loved every second of it. I am all about having fun and helping others reach their goals. Heath and wellness has been such a passion of mine and I love having the opportunity to help others figure out what drives and motivates them. I have a varied clientele and my coaching style also varies from client to client, its all based on what YOU want and need :) I have a strong educational science background as well as extensive group fitness experience which makes me a very flexible trainer
My favorite client story
I had a woman client who was in the process of going through a divorce, she felt as though she had "lost herself". Our training sessions were great fitness wise but it was the rapport and relationship that we started to build during those workouts. Still to this day we are friends and she knows that anytime she needs me, I'm there for her. Fitness/wellness isnt just about the physical side, there is a huge mental portion to overall wellbeing.
My favorite exercise
My favorite thing for cardio is to teach/take a Spin class. I love the loud music and the awesome workout a indoor bike can give you.
My favorite quote
"It always seems impossible until its done."
My training philosophy
I believe that fitness is for everyone and it looks a little different from person to person. For some people it may be working out in a gym a few days a week, and for other it may be getting outside and doing something they love such as a sport. Either way, there is absolutely something for everyone and I am there to help people figure it out.
My training experience
I started off in Collegiate Recreation where I mostly worked with students. Now I train a variety of people with a variety of goals.
