Hey guys, my name is Danny. I've been training for about 5 years and it's my opinion that a GREAT trainer will learn how to tailor an exercise program to their clients to make it fun and keep them motivated, design unique programs that ambitiously approach their client's goals but don't forsake long term health (e.g. losing 30 lbs of body fat in exchange for early onset arthritis), and inspire clients to make fitness a lifestyle so they're not bouncing from one new diet plan to the next. 

 

I became a trainer because I've always cared a lot about people, and I love training. My training style is helping you accomplish your goals and keep you looking forward to training through my education, background, and experience. I've helped a woman who couldn't bend her knee past 45 degrees, due to arthritis, lose 100 lbs. I helped a man whose measurements were 45" all around for his chest, waist, and hips, taper down to a 32" waist while maintaining his shoulder width at 45" (keeping a masculine physique). I've helped an 83 year old women who hadn't been able to get up and down off the ground for over a decade do just that. It doesn't matter who you are or what your background is, if you want to make your goals happen, we can do it together.

This is my favorite client story's testimonial, "At 46 years old I found myself the heaviest I've ever been. Lacking self-confidence and not having been in the gym in 25 years. My favorite exercise

My favorite exercise is the deadlift. It's functional, it helps shape and tone nearly everything in your body, it makes you feel strong, and it just looks cool!

My training philosophy

My training philosophy starts with addressing your movement mechanics and posture first. A true training regimen can't start until your postural, coordination, and core weakness is addressed. Otherwise, you will always never be training at your full potential and be more susceptible to injury. From there the real fun starts and we can start working on a program that combines a focus on nutrition, resistance training, and cardiovascular training that is tailored to you.

My training experience

I have been a trainer for 5 years. I have managed two personal training departments at two different health clubs, trained people out of their homes, worked for a year at a Physical Therapy clinic, and am working on my undergraduate in Physical Therapy.

I've been going to Danny for almost a year and could not be happier! He is not your normal trainer. He made me feel comfortable right away, even though I was insanely out of shape. After the initial assessment, he took the time to get to know me and what I wanted to achieve. Together we discussed and set goals for fitness as well as ways to improve my diet. Danny's upbeat attitude is contagious. I might be known attempt to veto certain exercises but Danny refuses to let me off the hook and pushes me to believe in myself. My workouts are tailored to me and the types of things that I enjoy and help keep me motivated. Danny has helped me work around issues such as muscle strains to continue to push myself. He is very knowledgeable about the human body and can modify any exercises when needed. I now look forward to my workouts!

Danny is an exceptional trainer, he not only focuses on the physical development of his clients but also their nutritional and emotional needs. Danny is very professional, even while keeping things fun and engaging.
