Hey guys, my name is Danny. I've been training for about 5 years and it's my opinion that a GREAT trainer will learn how to tailor an exercise program to their clients to make it fun and keep them motivated, design unique programs that ambitiously approach their client's goals but don't forsake long term health (e.g. losing 30 lbs of body fat in exchange for early onset arthritis), and inspire clients to make fitness a lifestyle so they're not bouncing from one new diet plan to the next.
I became a trainer because I've always cared a lot about people, and I love training. My training style is helping you accomplish your goals and keep you looking forward to training through my education, background, and experience. I've helped a woman who couldn't bend her knee past 45 degrees, due to arthritis, lose 100 lbs. I helped a man whose measurements were 45" all around for his chest, waist, and hips, taper down to a 32" waist while maintaining his shoulder width at 45" (keeping a masculine physique). I've helped an 83 year old women who hadn't been able to get up and down off the ground for over a decade do just that. It doesn't matter who you are or what your background is, if you want to make your goals happen, we can do it together.
My favorite client story
This is my favorite client story's testimonial, "At 46 years old I found myself the heaviest I've ever been. Lacking self-confidence and not having been in the gym in 25 years. I was very hesitant to start an exercise program. all my fears and insecurities went away the moment I started training with Danny. I'm proud to say that I dropped 30 lbs and feel great! Danny has made a huge impact on my life. He is not only an amazing trainer full of patience, understanding, and knowledgeable, but also a great friend that has guided me through this journey." The reason why this is my favorite client story is that it encompassed everything I love about training. There were sessions that had tears, laughs, even the occasional disagreement. Seeing her post her before and after pictures on Facebook and the confidence she carries herself with today makes me so grateful for what I do and that I got to be a part of that.
My favorite exercise
My favorite exercise is the deadlift. It's functional, it helps shape and tone nearly everything in your body, it makes you feel strong, and it just looks cool!
My favorite quote
"What got you here, won't get you there."
My training philosophy
My training philosophy starts with addressing your movement mechanics and posture first. A true training regimen can't start until your postural, coordination, and core weakness is addressed. Otherwise, you will always never be training at your full potential and be more susceptible to injury. From there the real fun starts and we can start working on a program that combines a focus on nutrition, resistance training, and cardiovascular training that is tailored to you.
My training experience
I have been a trainer for 5 years. I have managed two personal training departments at two different health clubs, trained people out of their homes, worked for a year at a Physical Therapy clinic, and am working on my undergraduate in Physical Therapy.

I've been going to Danny for almost a year and could not be happier! He is not your normal trainer. He made me feel comfortable right away, even though I was insanely out of shape. After the initial assessment, he took the time to get to know me and what I wanted to achieve. Together we discussed and set goals for fitness as well as ways to improve my diet. Danny's upbeat attitude is contagious. I might be known attempt to veto certain exercises but Danny refuses to let me off the hook and pushes me to believe in myself. My workouts are tailored to me and the types of things that I enjoy and help keep me motivated. Danny has helped me work around issues such as muscle strains to continue to push myself. He is very knowledgeable about the human body and can modify any exercises when needed. I now look forward to my workouts!
Danny has been my personal trainer in the past and is currently training with my 82 year old mother at our home . He tailors his program the individual. His focus is overall health to promote a better quality of life for the long run. My mother and I, are both very pleased with his services. Always prompt and pleasant.
Danny is an exceptional trainer, he not only focuses on the physical development of his clients but also their nutritional and emotional needs. Danny is very professional, even while keeping things fun and engaging. I appreciate his constant communication via email and text; checking on how I'm doing, offering support and confirming appointments when changes were made. I also appreciated his scheduling flexibility and respecting my scheduling requirements. Danny assessed my training needs and designed a program that helped with my weight loss goals as well as address some of my limitations because of health issues. He changed our program so that it was never dull, was continuously challenging and kept me moving towards my personal goals. Often when I thought I couldn't do an exercise or movement, Danny's encouragement helped me to push through and succeed. In addition to physical assessments, we did weekly weigh-ins so that I could see my weight loss progression. Which is highly motivating for me. He reviewed my nutrition logs and discussed choices/changes I could make to ensure I continued dropping pounds instead of hitting a plateau. With Danny as my trainer I was able to lose over 95 pounds and continue moving forward on my journey of self-improvement. I cannot thank him enough. I would, and have, recommend Danny as a personal trainer for anyone looking to make position changes in the life -- best investment to make in yourself.
Danny has a unique ability to focus on YOU, the client! As his client I feel that he has always been sensitive to my needs and has figured out what motivates me to achieve my highest potential. Due to his expertise and sensitivity he has often found it advantageous to adjust and alter my work outs, even right in the middle of a session, to accommodate the limitations of my age or whatever "comes up" as an issue. I always feel that he has my best interests in mind. I must admit that I have experienced phenomenal progress and achieved levels I never thought possible! Work outs with Danny are rewarding both physically and psychologically; he makes you feel like it's a team effort to achieve your goals :)
Danny motivates you to keep yourself motivated about fitness & working out. He helps you see the bigger picture about what you are working towards w/o being pushy. He has a great personality for his chosen field.
