I struggled for years with unhealthy eating, smoking and excessive alcohol use. Exercise was one of the tools that helped me get over those stumbling blocks. I wanted an opportunity to help others overcome their own difficulties. I specialize in training people whose lives are so busy they can't make fitness a priority. I have two small children and work seven days per week, so I know exactly what it's like to have trouble prioritizing. I look for the tools that will help a client find a skill they enjoy, reduce stress, and live a healthier life.

Adam is a life saver. After dealing with with loss this past year I wanted to get back to being active and working out as part of my healing. Adam is easy to work with, and gave me great exercises to help ease my back pain. He's piqued my interest in kickboxing, and I get a great workout when we work together.
Adam is amazing and so professional. He has already boosted my confidence and motivated me. I am not new to working out but after some major life events I didn't even know where to start. After 2 sessions I am already convinced Adam is the trainer that I have always needed. I have had 2 children, ran a marathon, had arms like Kelly Ripa, danced in a company....but have never been able to do a sit up! Guess who was able to get to the problem behind it all after 2 sessions?! Adam! Seriously! I have had trainers and PT with no success but Adam was able to teach me to engage my abdominals that have not been able to work in a long time.

I found Adam to be professional, knowledgeable, a great trainer that is versatile in his methods, and I know I'll achieve my fitness goals with him kicking my butt--like a good trainer will do, in a nice way. :) He did some research on my physical condition and I was impressed that he cared enough to read about my fight with chronic Lyme and tailor the work out(s) around my current capabilities. It's important that I move, and motivation is hard to have with a disease like Lyme. I appreciate Adam for helping me get my life back on track.
I was in search of a trainer to help with the discipline of working out. I am extremely pleased with my experience. We began with an evaluation that included discussion about exercises that I dreaded. We then worked together on a plan that would be manageable for me. Now at about 9 weeks into the program I am still very pleased with my trainer. He is professional and personable and has helped me to do things (push-ups, weight lifting, kick boxing) that I have never done before. He is very supportive and flexible in helping me to achieve my goals. Work outs are challenging but we have fun. I can honestly say that I enjoy exercise and it's because of what I learned from Adam and Simple Basic Fitness. I would, and have, recommend this service to anyone who is looking to get in shape in a way that's tailored to your needs and abilities.
I am extremely happy with Adam as a trainer. I have had several trainers over the years and he ranks among the best. He was diligent in researching my injury, listened to my concerns, and has created a fitness regimen that is sound and effective. He is supportive and helps motivate, but doesn't push too hard.

We have enjoyed our workouts with Adam. He is very patient and not only changes up the workouts but takes time to make sure you are doing movements properly so you don't hurt yourself. He taught us kick boxing yesterday! My 17 year old son LOVED it! He is friendly and very easy to work with, not to mention the sweat provoking workouts! I would defiantly recommend Adam.
I recently began training with Adam. He is very professional yet friendly and approachable. He knows just how far to push me. The fact that he understands my conditions (MS and fibromyalgia) and knew exactly what areas to work on is just an added bonus. As far as his rate, he's worth it no matter what his rate is! Adam is beyond professional and has been very instrumental in helping me get back in shape. As a former athlete, I have been working out on my own trying to get back to my previous fitness level.
