My name is Tim and I have a bachelor's degree from NIU in Health and Human Studies and an A.A.S in Health and Fitness. I am certified through N.S.C.A and A.C.E. I taught Boot Camp Fitness and Senior Fitness Classes for 5 years.
After the pandemic closed all the gyms I started doing 1-1 online fitness training through zoom. I was actually very surprised to how well it worked and how much people were enjoying it! Going forward I plan on doing exclusively online training. I really hope to reach the population who may be self-conscious about going to the gym.
Being a trainer isn't about showing off your six pack and biceps. It's about understanding normal people and finding ways to keep them motivated! I understand no one is perfect and everyone needs help in areas of their life.I will not be here to judge you! Instead I'll help you reach your fitness goals no matter what fitness level you're at. As a boot camp instructor I've had hundreds of clients and have been able to modify exercises for all levels of fitness.I have had many clients lose 100 lbs or more! I can modify any exercise and help my clients progress to more challenging exercises when ready. I can work with very minimal equipment to all body weight exercises if needed. However, more equipment you have the better!
