My passion for learning has brought about an approach that blends many methodologies of training. Growing up as a competitive gymnast, I was exposed to body control and learned the importance of a base of strength. In graduate school I became involved in Olympic Weightlifting and I quickly learned the importance of having a balance between stressors in life—including one’s exercise regimen. As a Certified Athletic Trainer, I love to help others balance their stressors as well, whether it’s an injury or a busy schedule that demands an efficient and effective movement practice. I blend together my background in injury management and my knowledge from my Personal Training certifications to work with the individual on a spectrum of healing from injury to progressing them to full strength and conditioning. My injury background is unique to the fitness field and being able to blend both rehabilitation and strength training has been very beneficial for my clients! My coaching philosophy is that one size does not fit all, less is more and we need to treat ourselves with compassion when healing from an injury or trying to attain a specific goal.
