After graduating from Hofstra University in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Science, I went directly into personal training at Therapeutic Solutions rehabilitation center in Merrick, NY. There, I developed a sound foundation for treating a wide variety of people of different conditions and backgrounds. Under the supervision and direction of a highly acclaimed physical therapist, Dr. Jamie Rockwin, I learned the tricks of the trade in injury prevention, rehab training, as well as post-rehab training. After a few years of experience, I developed my confidence as a personal trainer and found myself hungry for more information. I became certified as an Exercise Physiologist and achieved my Masters in Exercise Science (with distinction in my class). I currently hold a position as an Exercise Specialist at the Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains where I teach classes and work one-on-one with individuals who come from varying conditions. Some of my personal joys include photography, running, weight lifting, music creation, and reading.

I'm so glad that I made the choice to prioritize my health and happiness and start working out again and that Jonathan is a part of that journey. I found Find Your Trainer and Jonathan during a period of transition in my life. I was looking for a trainer who would push me outside of my comfort zone, but not make me feel bad if I can't do every exercise since I've been dealing with nerve compression/a repetitive stress injury that's made it difficult to work out. As a result of the burning nerve pain in my elbows, I did not work out for the past year and a half or make healthy food choices because I felt too weak to cook. I've started to feel better but I wanted to get stronger and healthier again. I knew I needed the focus and attention that a personal trainer would provide, especially because I was unsure if I could keep up with the pace of a regular class and I didn't want to do my typical girly workout of going on an elliptical for an hour. Jonathan is professional, respectful, knowledgeable, empathetic and punctual. I am so glad that he's been helping me achieve my fitness goals.
