As a Personal Trainer, my approach is to initially assess my individual clients "Base Fitness Level" (In simple terms... What's YOUR "starting line" ?), as well as addressing any and all health related issues. I also cannot stress enough how important the proper kind of diet is that matches with the individual's fitness goals. Then, based on the Client's fitness goals, I design and implement a workout program that is specifically tailor made for what my client is trying to achieve. My goal is to have my Clients give a 100% effort, regardless if that's 1 Push Up, or 1000 Push Ups. Its my job to SAFELY and intelligently push them slightly past that 100% effort so the Client can make SAFE improvements each and every session. My theory is that a Client only has to work TWICE AS SMART, not necessarily TWICE AS HARD, to achieve their individual goals.
