About Bethany

I'm a trainer who prefers nature trails and saltwater over the gym. I believe nature has restorative power and I want my clients to unplug and get some fresh air. I endorse a healthy, mind-body approach to exercise, instead of glorifying pain or extreme fitness trends. I also offer 30-minute private, online sessions for the client who is short on time, travels for work, or would rather train from their home or office. Outdoor/In-Person sessions include a brief warm-up, followed by a combination of cardio (walk/and or jog) and resistance training exercises using your bodyweight. Online sessions include a brief warm-up, followed by a series of functional exercises to strengthen and tone your abs/core, legs, glutes, and arms. All you need is a yoga mat and one pair of dumbbells.

My training philosophy

I don't believe in using exercise as punishment, or shame as a motivator. I endorse a balanced, mind-body approach to fitness where my clients feel challenged, but above all, supported.

My training experience

I was a ballet dancer for ten years. My background in classical strength training shows you don't need equipment to get fit, unless you want to add variety to your exercise program.
