I’ve played just about every sport, but I excelled in Gracie Jujitsu which I’ve studied for a little over 8 years. I have competed at a high level and attended national championships and actively train a minimum of four days a week.
I understand when someone says that they are tired and don’t feel like training; believe me, I know where you are coming from. I have had injuries before and had to rehab them just like everyone else, so I am familiar with what it feels like to start over. My viewpoint is that there is always something you can do and you are only as strong as your weakest link. Regardless of your condition, past injuries, gender or age; I can help make you stronger, faster and feel better. All I ask is to keep an open mind.
I’m always eager to learn, so I study body mechanics to learn about how it works, how it moves, etc. I actually hated the fact that I didn’t know the difference between my pecs and my lats. I wanted to know more than anyone else, or at least I would take the opportunity to learn anytime I could. I am a sponge and soak up everything: everyday I try to learn one more thing, a move, a fact, anatomy, energy systems of the muscles, rehab exercises, something that I didn’t know yesterday to make me a better trainer today.
