Hi, I’m Aya, NASM Certified Personal trainer. I’ve been weightlifting for 10 years and learned the hard way how working out without proper guidance can result in injuries. An injury in the beginning of my fitness journey and an injury from working at a non-ergonomic desk left me in chronic pain. Over the next 5 years I’ve taught myself how to recover from my injuries and today I live an active life without pain.
Last year I had an opportunity to become certified and learn how to help others.
The way I work comes from many years of training combined with my personal journey from injury, through chronic pain, and into healing.
I concentrate on improving posture, strengthening core, and teaching proper fundamental movements. This helps correct imbalances, restore range of motion, reduce or remove pain, and increase strength and endurance.
The knowledge of fundamental movements will give you confidence to train on your own and navigate the fitness information expertly.
I believe fitness can be for ALL bodies and I am here to help you gain confidence and reach your goals and improve your health and quality of life. I especially welcome those who find gyms a little intimidating or are fitness beginners.
