With my several years in Healthcare Management I've acquired many skills such as customer service, attention to detail, time management and motivational skills and knowledge in health and wellness. I've also been physically active most of my life until a back injury prevented me from doing the things I loved. With that being said, being inactive cause weight gain and muscle loss. It was that time in my life that I recognized that I needed to understand the human body and what caused my injury, so becoming a personal trainer was the most appropriate profession. It's something that I've really wanted to do for some time. I can relate to weight loss struggles and getting back into shape like no other. My goal is to have a positive impact on individuals by creating life changing fitness experience through fun, challenging appropriate and effective programs. I am committed to support and help each client meet or exceed their fitness goals. I am your personal Trainer!
My favorite client story
When I was volunteering with someone for weeks, I noticed she had a slight limp, like she was favoring her right hip. I finally mentioned it to her and said I wanted to help her out. After her initial assessment I found that she may have piriformis issues and created an exercise program for her. After following up with her, I was so happy to hear shes kept up on her exercises and her hip pain is gone and her limp is too! Love to hear success stories like this!
My favorite exercise
Yoga is one of my favorite exercises because it really helps me stay centered and it really tones the body and keeps me flexible
My favorite quote
Be thankful for what you are now and keep fighting for what you want to be tomorrow

I've know and worked with Sandra Brown for the past two years. I've taken classes that Sandra has taught; and, I worked with her as a Personal Trainer. She is positive, kind and SO encouraging. I was shy about trying an exercise program and Sandra walked me through options and has continued to help me stay active and involved in classes, in spite of a recent rotator cuff injury. She was careful to always give me work-a-rounds to continue exercising, while protecting my shoulder and gently helping me to strengthen the muscles in my back, neck and fore arm. I highly recommend Sandra Brown as a trainer and/or instructor, especially for people who are hesitant about beginning an exercise program, increase physical fitness or individuals who may have some physical limitation. She cares for her students and makes such a monumental effort to help and encourage, whether in a class or as a person client. I look forward my continuing association with Sandy.
I worked with Sandra as a personal trainer last winter and found her to be excellent at what she does. I was having some hip pain and asked her for help on what exercises to do and a daily routine of exercises and stretches for relief from the pain I was experiencing. Not only did I get a personalized exercise routine, written out and demonstrated, but I also got many recommendations on physical activity ideas and assistance and even healthy tips on diet. I have additionally observed Sandra as a personal trainer for others and have seen first hand how effective her commitment is to anyone in need. She is warm, personable, competent and passionate about her profession and will really spend the time with you. Whatever you need in a personal training plan, whether it be weight loss, toning, yoga or exercise, this is the person you need to contact. In addition to all of the above, Sandra is so fun and easy to spend time with you will enjoy your time with her. I would highly recommend Sandra as a personal trainer, she is wonderful and cares a great deal about the work she does and helping people in any way she can!
Sandra is an excellent trainer. She is personable and encouraging
Sandra had a vast knowledge of the body and listened to my needs as she trained me. She designed an exercise program that I’ve adhered to still and made working out fun again. I would highly recommend her and hired her back this summer.
