My training experience
I've been a runner since age 13, when it was cool to run in all cotton shorts and shirts. I've gone from completely novice to experienced athlete, but have never, ever, forgotten my roots or the hard work it took to get there. My favorite athlete is often the beginner, as there is so much to learn about our own inner strength, and I love seeing people surprised at just how strong their body and mind can be.
