Prior to becoming a personal trainer, Ted worked as a commercial banker for five years. After receiving multiple traumatic injuries in a car accident, Ted dedicated himself to fitness and realized a tremendous recovery not previously thought possible.
Ted believes that physical fitness should be enjoyed by all, whether you are an athlete or have a disability, and strongly believes in the healing powers of exercise. Ted's commitment to fitness is multi-dimensional, ranging from his athletic endeavors while growing up, to coaching high school basketball, and most recently to its post-rehabilitative benefits.
Ted has an affinity for balanced fitness programs via cross-training and has both practical and professional experience in low-impact cardio exercise, plyometrics and circuit training. Ted takes pride in individualizing a client's experience to find the most productive exercise methods. Ted strives to help all clients stay fit, active and pain free in order to enhance their life experience.

Ted is an excellent personal trainer. He puts in a lot effort to make each work out unique and innovative. With his positive energy and enthusiasm, he actually manages to make working out fun! When I started at Orange Shoe, I had been through a series of failed attempts to truly habituate working out. I’d get hot and heavy for awhile, then flame out, then repeat that process over and over. I also had some nagging injuries left over from high school sports that were impeding my progress. Ted helped me take a broad look at my physical health, and then implemented a plan that was customized around me and my particular tendencies. Since that happened, I’ve never felt better physically in my adult life. Ted is a true professional, and a great guy to boot. If there is a better trainer out there, I would be shocked.
