At Custom Fitness, we deliver comprehensive programs that include all that you will need to meet and exceed your goals. This includes customized exercise programs that can be performed in 45 minutes or less with little or no equipment, full nutrition counseling as well as a team of fitness professionals that are ready to help keep you motivated and accountable.

Custom Fitness believes in fully customizing programs for each client to get them from their starting point to where they want to be in the shortest time and best way possible. We understand that not everyone is the same or responds to the same stimulus. We also believe that the biggest part to succeeding with any goal is accountability and support which is why we have an entire team of professionals to support you in achieving your goals.

This is the best fitness place that I have ever tried. I have been to a lot of gyms, had personal trainers, and tried many different diets. Everyone at Custom Fitness are so nice and supportive. They check in on how your progressing regularly. Kris doesn't give you a fad diet that you can't stick with, she teaches you how to eat how you want, to benefit you and your goals. The gym is VERY clean, and comfortable, they accommodate your children if you need to bring them, with no extra charge. The workouts are challenging without needing tons of equipment and machines. Justin is my personal trainer, and he's awesome. He is really good at customizing my workouts with my goals and hardships in mind, very knowledgeable and not overbearing like some trainers can be. I highly recommend Custom Fitness for anything from weight loss to allergies or stress management or even if you just need the encouragement to keep on going they are all really great at what they do.

I am 35 years old and was recently pregnant with my second daughter. I love to exercise and am normally very active and fit. During my first pregnancy, I was able to maintain my pre-pregnancy workout regime throughout (with some minor modifications) including jogging and strength training. Unfortunately, this 2nd pregnancy was much harder with the majority of the first 5 months spent sick in bed. When I finally started to feel a little better (and got out of bed), I wanted to start exercising again but wasn’t sure the appropriate way to do so. I knew I couldn’t just jump back into my pre-pregnancy routine after so much time off. I remembered taking a prenatal yoga class with Kris during my first pregnancy (and LOVING it), so I got in touch with her again hoping she was still teaching. I learned of Amarillo Fit Mama and the personal training that Kris could customize for my pregnancy. This was the perfect solution to my dilemma! Every four weeks Kris created a new routine for me that was both appropriate for my stage of pregnancy and also challenging enough to improve my fitness. We would do the workout together once a week so she could check my form, and then I would do it 2 more times on my own with days of walking and yoga mixed in. Kris also did an assessment every four weeks to track my progress. Without her training schedule, I’m pretty sure I would have pushed too hard some days and skipped other days completely. Her workouts provided just the right level of difficulty (with optional modifications) and having a “plan” in itself was really helpful on days when I felt less motivated. Kris kept me accountable and pushed me to do my best, but she managed to do so while encouraging me and boosting me up. I also continued to train with Kris after my baby was born. She provided just the right exercises to help me heal and strengthen my body after the rigors of childbirth. Kris has been such a blessing in my life during both of my pregnancies, especially this one. My health and my baby’s health would not be where they are today if it weren’t for her expertise and thoughtfulness. I should also mention that not only is Kris a fitness guru, she is also an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to nutrition, holistic health, labor/childbirth and more – a great resource for anyone interested in feeling good for life.
