About Sharif

My vision is to help anyone improve their health regardless of their busy schedule or current level of fitness. You'll get the results you are looking for while doing workouts that are different and entertaining. I develop every plan for YOU and your specific goals. My name is Sharif Wilson and I fell in love with fitness at a young age. I began taking Taekwondo classes at the age of 13. I earned by black belt and have continued to practice each day. My love for staying healthy learning everything about I can about fitness led me to earn my bachelors of science in kinesiology. Kinesiology is very basically the study of movement. It requires knowledge of physics, anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, biology, and many other areas of study. This knowledge base helps me create workout plans that tailored are for you and guaranteed to get results. My degree has prepared me far better than a certification that can be acquired with just a week of study. I can account for various ailments you have or procedures you have been through such as diabetes mellitus, stents, bypass surgery, joint pain, physical disabilities, mental disorders, hypertension, hypotension, fibromyalgia, and others. Depending on the severity of an issue I may recommend that you get cleared for exercise by your physician before starting a program. My job is to help you reach your goal while giving you as much knowledge and confidence to continue a healthy lifestyle so help is no longer needed. I consider it a success when a client reaches their goal and never needs me again.


My favorite client story

One of my clients had shoulder surgery and still had issues after physical therapy. He had major difficulties reaching above his head. This caused problems when doing something simple like placing dishes in the cabinet. We worked together on increasing his strength and range of motion. It took some time but he eventually let me know that it was much easier to do daily task like putting on a shirt. Seemingly small things like that bring me the most satisfaction and remind me why I love helping people.
