About Edward

I have always gone by "intelligence is the ability to adapt", I have personally participated in various types of sports. Growing up I was both a soccer and baseball athlete, from my youth to my teenage years into college. As I got older I enjoyed more weight training and decided to dip my feet in the bodybuilding and powerlifting world. Though I never competed in bodybuilding I have competed numerous times in Powerlifting. It was around this time where I decided to change career paths and begin to pursue Physical Therapy. Working in the field allowed me to see the science portion of health and fitness, it was then where I was able to get the best of both worlds. I used my job at the time to enhance my title as a Personal Trainer.

I later changed gears and began doing recreational martial arts and recently have decided to add long distance running/triathlons to my resume. I have ran a few races including 10 half marathons and the 2018 NYC Marathon.  I completed my first ever half Ironman (70.3) race in 2019 and now I am looking forward to a full distance Ironman Lake Placid (140.6) come July 2021.

I have learned that no matter how different the sport may be, fundamentals always remain the same. Techniques will change and adaptation will be required, but foundation never changes.  In a nutshell, I like to take what I can when I can and manifest it to my clients. That's what I love most, knowledge is best passed down. I continue to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist, but in meantime I want to utilize the tools I have acquired over the past 10 years and help others.

Edward knows his stuff. He listens to your goals and expectations. He keeps me focus on my goals. He adds his suggestions to help me work toward my goals and comes up with a fitness program that delivered beyond my expectations. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer.

I can’t say enough great things about my experience with Edward. The physical and mental benefits that have come from our training sessions have surpassed my expectations. He's helped me reaching my physical goals but most important to have more confidence in myself and that I can do it. He has a great personality and maintains professionalism while also being very personable. He really listens to your needs and expectations and adapt the training in order for you to reach your goals. He always encourage me and we have fun during the sessions. Starting training with Edward a few months ago was the best decision I took and I am looking forward for more sessions with him to achieve new goals.

I have been working out with Edward for a year and I can see the change in myself with improved strength and toning. Workout sessions with him are challenging that he changes the exercises frequently to break the routine. Edward is a good motivator and very comfortable to work with. I look forward to continue working out with him!

Edward has a way of keeping our sessions from feeling repetitive, I never knew there were so many ways to train one muscle group. He was able to rehab me back from a sprained ankle and still meet m goal of losing weight. He is outstanding and I recommend him to anyone.

I would highly recommend Ed Morales to anyone who is wants a more healthy lifestyle. He is versatile in his skills regarding meal plans, work out regimes, and helping clients with various types of alternatives and modifications due to injury’s or pain. Gives great encouragement and is very flexible in scheduling!

I have a terrible back and one of the main reasons I need a trainer is to make sure I don't hurt myself trying to get in better shape. Edward has been a huge reason why I'm actually pain free right now (minus the sore muscles from working out). I'm a beginner and I'm overweight and I'd recommend Edward to anyone in the same boat.

Amazing first session! The past few years I have struggled a lot with continually gaining weight and every time I tried to start exercising I ended up hurting myself. Edward has been able to identify the fact that my stance is wrong just by looking at how I stand. And I kid you not, just from one session my duck footed walk is a lot less duck footed. He has PT experience which I think is what I need to safely lose weight and get back in shape. I scheduled my next session with him right away and I can't wait to see the results.

My trainer Ed was beyond amazing. He was always punctual and very easy to get along with. He always made sure to explain the exercises i would be doing and showed me the correct way to do them. He also made sure to incorporate exercises that I enjoyed within our workout regimen. Ed communicated that he would always be accessible to me if i ever had any questions regarding my workouts or nutrition. Providing that extra push that I always needed. On my days off he would also provide me with exercise circuits i could do on my own so that I could always be on track with my fitness goals. I can go on and on about my training experience with Ed. It was all that I expected and then some. You will not be dissappointed with him as your trainer.

Edward’s expertise and guidance keeps me focused and committed. His consistent updates and redesigning of my sessions keeps me progressing consistently. He’s helped develop a new attitude in me, Along with more confidence and drive to stay healthy. I have discovered new confidence as I reached the physique I wanted and also gave me the confidence to join bikini competition. Now I look forward to his fun/challenging sessions! #bereadytosweat

Edward coached me for my 1st powerlifting meet back in 2018. He helped me fix my techniques for the compound movements (squat, bench, deadlift), kept me motivated during the training cycle and he’s always communicating whenever I have questions. I placed 3rd on my meet and could have not done it without his expertise.

Attentive and knowledgeable. I have been training with Edward for a month. I cannot stress enough how strong and useful his knowledge and guidance has been in maximizing my growth in form, function, and strength throughout the last month. Edward is highly knowledgeable and will combine focusing on/improving form and technique with tailoring a workout regimen that is in line with the goals you have told him you are looking to achieve. Bottom line: I would recommend Edward to my friends without hesitation and regardless of their specific fitness level.

I started going to Ed after missing 2 separate soccer seasons due to a different injury each season. (For context, I play on a women's soccer team and recently turned 30. The team is more competitive than co-ed leagues, but less competitive than pro.) Ed helped me not only recover from my injuries, but also get stronger than I ever have been. He taught me how to improve my form when lifting to build strength more effectively, and even gave me some suggested improvements on my running form, which I didn't even realize I needed. He also gave me specific exercises to strengthen the right muscle groups to help prevent future injuries. Ed doesnt just provide a good workout, he makes sure you get the most out of your time by pushing you to go further than you thought you could, while still ensuring you're practicing proper form and breathing techniques. He'll even give you a nutrition plan if you're interested. After going to Ed, I can honestly say I've had one of my most successful soccer seasons to-date, and I'm excited to continue getting even stronger with Ed's help.
