I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. I also specialize in Fitness Nutrition and Weight Loss Management. I travel to my clients, so we either train in their building gym, home, or outdoors. Since I train clients living in the New York City Metropolitan Area, I work with them on finding a balance between healthy living and the ease of ordering food to our doorsteps (seamless, grubhub, etc).
I have worked with a wide range of clients from women to men, prenatal to post partum, millennials to seniors.
As a lifelong athlete (let's here it for the swimmers out there!), I knew I wanted to turn my love for physical activity into a career. That love for fitness paired with my passion for helping others really made my decision to become a personal trainer much easier. I strive to not only change people's bodies, but change their mindset on body image, food, and self esteem.
My favorite client story
My favorite client story is that of my pocket sized client, Mia. Mia came to me looking to lose about 20-30 lbs before her 31st birthday (about 4 months). After setting realistic goals and looking into her daily routine, we changed her diet without removing any food groups (she still gets to eat her coveted rice!) and started training 2x/week (plus her homework workouts 2-3 additional days per week). All summer long, Mia would tell me how she went on beach trip and brought her own HEALTHY food options, volunteered to carry everyone's luggage up to their rooms for an extra cardio boost. She even came home from a week long trip in Italy with videos of her terrace workouts! Mia truly gets what it takes to be fit and healthy, and she has surpassed her original goals with new goals in sight. So proud of all my clients, but Mia really embodies what it's all about!
My favorite exercise
Push ups! I've never had a client who could do a proper push up in our first session. It's my favorite full body move to work on, putting together core stability, upper body strength, and even a little bit of leg strength.
