My favorite client story
Ashley Battista-Fesh, who has lost over 47 lbs.: "My experiences at Cause and Effects Fitness, LLC have been nothing but wonderful. I am seeing the results I want in a realistic, timely manner. Being someone who always struggled with weight issues, I am finally starting to be happy with my body, and learning so much along the way. And most importantly, how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The nutritional seminars are an added bonus that I always look forward to and are educational. Coach Chad and Chelsea are both amazing and very encouraging to get you to where you want to be. I would recommend Cause and Effects Fitness to anyone who is looking for a better, healthier lifestyle. Cause and Effects Fitness is my "happy place". "
My favorite exercise
The deadlift. The deadlift is one of the most practical exercise because where you are most likely going to need your strength is in picking something heavy up off of the floor. It is important to learn to pick things up properly without injuring yourself. Not only that, it is almost a whole body exercise because of the number of muscles involved--hamstrings, glutes, quadriceps, lower back, last, traps, forearms, etc. Using a lot of muscle, builds a lot of muscle. And the more muscle you are using during any given exercise, the more calories you burn. The deadlift burns tons of calories. And you continue to burn calories afterwards in the repair process. Overall, the deadlift is one of the best exercises there is, if done properly with good form.
My favorite quote
There is no such thing as "I can't"--it's just that you haven't yet.
My training philosophy
We provide positive encouragement by keeping you focused on your goals and consistently reminding you of your "Why". We aim to build your "Want-to" power as well as building your willpower.
My training experience
I have been an ACE Certified Personal Trainer since 2012. I became a personal trainer after going through my own transformation and reaching a point where for the first time in my life I felt "comfortable in my own skin" and felt good about my body. That feeling was so powerful and priceless--I want to share it with the world. I am also a health coach and behavior change specialist.
