About Chris

After a lifetime of athletics, I began pursuing martial arts (a lifelong dream) over 11 years ago. Currently, I run the Youth Jiu-jitsu program and I am the Facility Manager at Precision Jiu-Jitsu in King of Prussia. I also run conditioning classes, Women's Self-Defense Seminars, and even Kid's Anti-Bullying Seminars - in addition to my weeknight and weekend kids classes I teach, tournament prep, etc.
My training style, due to my martial arts experience, is based on practicality and functional movement. Whether it is understanding the basics of self-defense, how to move the body in space, or even high level submission grappling - I believe that a by-product of these modalities is self-confidence, reduced stress, and ultimately feeling great.
The fitness routines and regiments I have designed for myself and students - whether high interval, circuit, or interval training - are practical and always come back to essential human movement patterns. (In addition to being a great workout!)
