About Candace

I am an in-home personal trainer, Yoga and Pilates Instructor. I believe that fitness should work in harmony with your busy life, and that real world results are attainable by making easy, consistent steps in the direction of your goals. I will come to your home, listen to your challenges, and provide a plan you can stick with to make a lasting change in your eating, exercise and lifestyle approach. I am AFAA certified fitness, personal trainer, Yoga, Pilates, wellness coaching and specialty populations. I will hold you accountable to find your passion for movement, to seek the roots of what may be holding you back, and to become your own fitness role model. I have helped countless people just like you discover why exercise and eating well is the true elixir of life.

I incorporate Yoga and Pilates into every exercise program. I believe in cardiovascular training for most days of the week, and mind-body exercises to bring all the elements of fitness together: flexibility, body composition, muscular strength, endurance and cardiorespiratory fitness. Yoga is an ancient holistic system of wellness that incorporates simple postures, breathing techniques and an awareness practice that is an amazing tool to change the way you think of exercise, relationships, and living.


My favorite exercise

My favorite exercise is Yoga. You can work every muscle, including the heart, every organ, including the lungs and brain, every system, including the endocrine (hormonal) and nervous system, while supporting and increasing your sense of well-being and happiness. Most people don't know that Yoga is a challenging workout that encompasses most every other discipline within it. By stretching, strengthening and breathing into every aspect of your body, you find paths to improving every aspect of your life.

My training experience

12 years experience in group fitness (aerobics and body sculpting), Yoga & Pilates classes, and in-home personal training. I've had dozens of success stories where people have come to me wanting to lose a few pounds and find that by using mind-body techniques and by using movement every day, they have a new passion for living, happy in their bodies and able to meet life's challenges by managing stress.
