About James

James’ passion for fitness and his knowledge of the latest techniques enable him to design  just the right program for his clients. From high school and college athletes to expectant mothers, his clients are impressed with his knowledge of the structure of the human body and his expertise in helping clients meet their fitness goals. Regardless of their current condition and exercise level, clients are assured to receive coaching at its finest.


A former collegiate wrestler and football player for the University of Findlay in Ohio, James earned his Bachelor of Science in physical education/strength and conditioning before going on to earn a Master of Science degree in Exercise, Health, and Sports Sciences from the Citadel in Charleston, SC.


James has close to 12 years of experience working with all age groups and has been training clients in the Atlanta area for almost 5 years. He has also spent several years coaching high school wrestling, football, and track & field.


James is certified by The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), one of the most recognized organizations in the fitness industry.

I can't think of one specific client story to talk about. Over the 10+ years of training, I have worked with various clientele. I have a feeling of accomplishment when clients tell me I help change their life style for the better. That's what I love about training. I help people...

My favorite exercise

The push-ups -Mostly because they work your entire upper-body (including your core), and can be modified to suit any fitness level. Push-ups isolate the chest, shoulders and triceps but every muscle in the body has to do its part for a proper push-up to take place. Your lats, traps and abs must stabilize your pushing muscles, while your lower back, legs and glutes need to stay engaged to keep your hips from sagging or piking up too high.
