About Jason

My passion for fitness started when I was 15.  I became self conscious about my poor muscle tone and posture, so I started doing exercises that helped my alignment and was amazed at how it boosted my confidence and self image.  

 

Like many young fitness enthusiasts, I pursued a bodybuilding lifestyle and trained to get bigger, leaner, and stronger.  Incidentally, I began to develop chronic pain and tension in my neck and back.  I was so driven to keep lifting and would ignore the pain.  This eventually lead me back to focusing on form and proper movement patterns.

 

I got my ISSA certificate in 2009 (I was 26).  Training came natural to me and instantly started building solid client relationships.  I felt so passionate about being able to help people and receiving praise for doing such an awesome job.  I learned how to accommodate just about anyone, and make the most out of minimal equipment.

 

The best thing about my training career is that my passion and interest keeps growing. I never stop learning new techniques, and when something helps me improve my health, it helps my clients too.
