As someone who is passionate about preventing chronic disease (diabetes, cancer, hypertension/heart disease, and metabolic disorder ------yes I realize some of these come with your genetics and cannot be 100% prevented) it is MY job to EDUCATE *you* on how to be a higher functioning human in both health/wellness and performance.
My background is in exercise science and years of sports before I ever set foot on a college campus. I know the rush of competing, I know what it feels like to be side lined with an injury, and more importantly, I KNOW WHAT KIND OF HARD WORK IT TAKES TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS. When training with me, you are expected to keep up with your program both in the gym and out of the gym. What this means is, your nutrition must FUEL your workouts.
Functional training is my preferred style; the body isn't moving in one singular plane so we will NOT train that way. Expect to learn new things! All programming is catered to YOUR specific needs/wants as well as what, based on my evaluation, seems necessary to get you there. I will not scream in your face, but, I am not afraid of some tough love so be prepared to S W E A T!
