After years of having a boring desk job in Finances and suffering chronic back pains, I went back to study nutrition and sport. This decision proved to be a true calling, as I have found my job incredibly rewarding over the past 8 years.I have always had an innate ability and desire to listen, understand and help others to bring positive changes to their lives and I am grateful to do it for a living. I am a French native who worked and lived in different countries( France, Germany, England, Ireland and USA) so I can bond and relate easily to my clients.
I work with adolescents, adults, seniors, pre/post natal women, cancer survivors, beginners and advanced level athletes, weight loss clients, those dealing with surgical rehabilitation ( knees,hips, shoulders), balance issues, lupus, back problems.... I continue to study and hold these specializations: Pre and Post Natal Specialty (ACE) - Senior Fitness Specialty Certification (ACE)- Cancer Exercise Specialist (Andrea Leonard Program)- Understanding Hormones Certificate Program (ACE)- CPR and first Aid (American Red Cross) - Being 41 and having a family I understand the challenge to add exercise, preparing healthy meals... to your busy schedule, but I am here to find solutions with you. I believe in having a detailed plan, creating a schedule to reinforce new habits and learn simple and manageable coping strategies to fit people different stages of life. Whether you have weight loss goals, want to run your first 5K, need to regain strength stamina and positive attitude after surgery,battling with chronic back pains or wish to change the way you feel about life, you need a plan ! My workouts are complemented with my expertise in training plans, recovery and stretching methods, visualization, dietary guidelines, recipes, motivating texts and emails, constant check-ins and a true desire to see you succeed.
Each session is individually designed specifically to meet your needs while consistently remaining fresh and challenging with different formats and equipment. My sessions start with a 5- 10 minute warm up, followed by 40 minutes of personalized programing and ending with 5-10 minutes of stretching.
As a long distance triathlete and runner I am no stranger to the kinetics of the human body and the mental attitude needed to succeed. I love teaching, explaining and sharing tips and strategies to reach your goals. I nurture the special relationship I share with my clients but I require a certain level of commitment. Anne has been my Personal Trainer for the past year. Wow, where do I start? She is awesome!! You will not find a better trainer, hands down. When I first started training with Anne, I was recovering from a shoulder injury (frozen shoulder) and an extremely weak lower back, which at times was quite painful. Anne worked patiently with me, providing me with a great work out with excellent and definitely beneficial strengthening and stretching exercises. I soon felt that I had regained strength and much more flexibility in my shoulder and lower back. Anne is certainly enthusiastic about a healthy lifestyle and it shows in her training. Anne has a vast knowledge of health and fitness and also great tips on healthy nutrition. Anne is a wonderful trainer, who also became a great friend, and I would highly recommend her.
I met Anne when we moved to a new town and my kids went to the same school as her kids. We became friends but it wasn't until a year later that I hired her as my personal trainer. I was about 10 pounds overweight and with most of the fat in the belly/waist area. My size pants had jumped from 0 to 4 and I had a tendinitis on my upper right arm which did not let me do a lot of moves. So I hired Anne and we began working together. She knew of my limitations at the time with the arm and had all my routines prepared with that in mind. She is very knowledgeable about muscles and proper exercise, postures and one's limitations. And absolutely creative! Her routines are always different so the body doesn't get used to the same exercise therefore result is better! Anne also knows a lot about healthy food and proper eating habits which play a very important role in this whole process of feeling and looking good. I'm not only back to the weight I had before but I even lost a couple of pounds more and I have the best shape I've had in years!
