Hi there! I'm Coach Katie, owner of Balance Works Fitness & Nutrition. I am very passionate about health and fitness and I quit a two decade long career in the corporate world to pursue my passion. I am an NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and Weight Loss Specialist, and continue to pursue additional specialty certifications in order to provide the best support and knowledge for my clients. I work with adults of all ages and levels who have a goal of adopting a healthier lifestyle whether that is weight loss specific, improving medical stats, building strength, increasing endurance or just feeling more energized! Client programs are personalized to fit their goals and we will progressively work to get there with safe & effective training. I strive to educate every client while also providing constant support and have a lot of fun along the way! My clients will have guidance with both fitness and nutrition that acheive the balance needed to sustain results for life!
My training philosophy
My training philosophy is to provide clients with a sustainable path of fitness and nutrition for a healthy and happy future! I don't believe in the quick fix or the right now methods....I believe that clients who are looking to become more fit and healthy or completely start from scratch should do so in a way that educates them on how to become healthy for life and enjoy it!
My training experience
I have experience both with 1-on-1 Personal training as well as group training. I work with Women & Men of all ages with a common goal of losing weight and feeling stronger. I create personalized unique programs for my clients that are based on their goals and abilities. My background as a Nutrition & Weight Loss Coach provides educatation and motivatation to clients while creating healthier eating habits. I build programs based on fundamental movement patterns, addressing muscle imbalances, building core stability and progressing towards their goals. By addressing both fitness and nutrition, we create the healthy balance that is sustainable and fun.
